A couple of weeks ago, our COO Jordi Vendrell and CEO Àlex Rodriguez Bacardit hosted the Startup Grind Barcelona 2nd online event. They shared key learnings on their journey running MarsBased, a  100% remote company without an office, working for clients all around the globe and with a team of 20 people, distributed remotely. 

We had the pleasure to host Jordi Miro, CTO at The Hotels Network, at the Startup Grind Barcelona online events a few weeks ago. Jordi shared his experience on how to deal with difficult conversations with investors in the current uncertain times. Are you raising funds now? Have you raised recently? Your round got to a sudden halt because of COVID-19?

As your company grows, so do your headcount and salaries. This applies to solo freelancers and agencies like ours alike: you have to hire other people, pay for services, face price increases from providers and keep up with the market changes. Here are some things we've tried, which have contributed to our company growth.

We have been working remotely since we created the company, in 2014. We want to share a few personal tips that will make remote working a better experience and sustainable over time.

It makes us very happy welcoming a new client, and it makes us very happy as well to work in new projects for returning clients. This is the case with Freshis, an e-commerce for locally grown fruits and vegetables. We are very excited to contribute to this mission, especially relevant in these days! 

In these tumultuous times, we are all struggling to find stable footing.
